Desmond Howard has one of the best laughs ever.

Two things:
Dari Nowkhah was hinting at another big job opening on his radio show yesterday as well. Very much got the impression he knew something but was playing the "I'm just saying what if" game. Never mentioned the sips specifically but was talking about it being a job so big that it's impacting hiring currently. As in why none of the empty jobs have been filled yet. Because those in the know are waiting for the big domino to fall.

All that stated, never forget that Desmond Howard is a complete and total moron. He has proven that time and time again over the years. So I'd take what he says with a boulder of salt.

While any type of controversy on the 40 acres is a good thing, they are idiots if this happens this year. There are a LOT of major HC jobs open. And like it or not they've been to the playoffs the last 2 years. Idiots. Are they really arrogant enough to think they'll get whoever they want with jobs available at LSU, Florida, Penn St etc? The Ags at 10-0 must have crushed the minute amount of rational thinking they are capable of.

WRT McQuire, tech is not a better program but it is certainly easier to win at due to tech's NIL ability and lack of competition within the BDF. They should be an annual playoff participant especially if they continue to schedule nothing but complete garbage for OOC.

If I was a college coach, I'd jump at any NFL gig. College is now a 365 job. NFL isn't, plus it would be a lot easier to come back to college

Danny Kanell thinks Sark is leaving for the NFL. He also thinks Kiffin is holding out to see if that happens.

FWIW desmond might be the least connected, laziest cfb analyst there is. His analysis is based on looking at W/L column and telling you the location of the school in question. I cant imagine he would be the first to know anything with concrete detail.

Ole Miss is getting antsy. He supposedly has a 13 mil a year extension that's been sitting on his desk for a month now. Ole Miss wants to know if they need to start a search.

Sark and Kiffin are friends, so there might be movement soon. Or Kiffin says he's leaving but hasn't decided where yet to give Ole Miss the green light.
