Summary
I called us struggling in the first half, and what our score would be. But I could not have been further from the truth on just how much we would struggle. I said we would win handily, but it took one of the best halves of Aggie football that we have ever seen. While Marcel was the reason why we were struggling(there were other factors, but he was making a lot of bad throws), it was also because of him that we won. That 4th and 12 run was what sparked the comeback, and his DEEP THROWS finally being what we needed them to be. This game was arguably more impressive than Notre Dame. That comeback was a comeback that only championship teams could accomplish.

Samford
Prediction: 49-3

Why?
Samford is 1-10 and without a head football coach. This will not even remotely be competitive; they will get a couple of big throws that should not happen, but it will be against backups. Or just a good play, we have been susceptible to long throws. This will be a game where the backups come in early. Marcel will have a crazy good game and then be taken out halfway through the third quarter. Miles O'Neill will be the guy we will be paying the most attention to.

I was 4 points off of the final score, it being 48-0. I was wrong about O'Neill and that the starters would come out in the 3rd. However I was right about Marcel having a good day(btw the deep balls are SO MUCH BETTER!!!). I will verify this but they did have a big play, but it was a short pass that became a long play

I was also certain starters would play the whole first half and the benches would start emptying in the 3rd. I dont think I've ever seen starters come out after 1Q...

Yeah I don't think anyone could've predicted them being taken out after basically 17 minutes of game time. But I will take it! We know Elko doesn't like to stat pad, and Marcel got 3 TDs on 10 completions. Not too shabby

I didn't think it was about not padding stats. It was getting real world reps for every next man up. Also letting deep roster players, especially seniors get reps in front of Mom and Dad for their last time dressed at Kyle.
