Last week we demolished a good team on the road, and your excuse was one winning drive against a bad team in closing minutes shiwed championship quality, more than beating a good team by a lot.

Now, we did something that was infinitely
more difficult and rare than one game winning drive- showing an even more rare ability to throw adversity aside and accomplish the impossible.

But we all know that wont impress you.

I think the biggest thing that happened wasn't our win against SC. Or the manner it happened. But that a certain Baylor graduate is no longer the chair.

They are not going to rank us ahead of them, when they are on a collision corse for #1 v #2 tv ratings. Hasn't happened since 2019 LSU v Bama.

As much as people say ESPN loves the SEC, they've had the National Championship prediction as OSU vs Indiana for the last 7-8 weeks.

It's actually worse. He's an Indiana grad and the Baylor AD.

A #1 vs. #2 BIG championship game does nothing for ESPNs ratings. Could it be that people's perception of ESPNs influence on the CFP is wrong?

The committee will use any rationale that justifies them doing whatever they want to do. Once you come to terms with their self interest being there central consideration, their rankings all make more sense.

Exactly.

Marcel scrambling on 4th and 12 to get the first was the best football play I've seen in a long while. It was gut check time and he pulled it off.

Aggies that only care about beating Texas above all else are losers.

At this point in our season, beating them should be all we care about because it has massive implications on our post season goals.

Sure, but LSU vs Bama is a different animal; both Blue Bloods in Football crazy states. The Buckeyes will pull in eyes, but I'm suspect on what a Rustbelt Basketball school will bring to the table.

Caring about beating them in the context of the season outcomes is fine. But too many people on here would be fine with going 1-11 if that 1 was Texas.
