I am taking my father to his first Aggie game. He is 73 y/o and has mobility issues. I am wondering if anyone has information on where to park for handicap access and if there is wheelchair accessibility at the stadium. He currently uses a walker but he can't walk the entire stadium. He is extremely excited for this experience and I appreciate any feedback that can be provided.

I'll give you an ADA parking pass in UCG (Koldus right next to the stadium) for free.

There is an entrance right across the street on the east side where those with mobility issues can take an elevator to your level. Not sure about west side if you're over there, but I got you on the parking.

My brother and I take our father to the games and we park in the ADA parking in UCG. He is the class of '57 and 90 years young.

TxAggies2012 is correct regarding the east side entrance. Depending where you tickets are located and what time you arrive at Kyle another option is to enter Kyle on the north end by the Letterman's Club entrance. There are several staffed elevators that can get you to the correct level. This puts you in the middle of Kyle Field (north and south).

Hope this helps and I will be listening for you'll at the game, Gig'em.

Good bull TxAggies2012.

These answers match what my experience was with my dad in his last years. Park in Koldus and take an elevator up, although we never went up from the east. It was either the north Zone or west side, depending on the year as our seats moved a couple of times during the years when my dad was using a walker to get around.

Thank you! I will send you an email shortly. Really appreciate the info. Is there a section within Kyle that I can reserve a wheelchair?

Make sure you post pics to document your dad's experience.

If I remember right, we had to add all the handicap access back when the Big12 started and we knew we'd have OU fans coming to games.

The west side is pretty simple. But you need to know your section.

If you are going to Hall of Champions area, you won't need an elevator. If you are going to upper deck on west side, go to Gate 3. That's the 50-yard line gate on west side. There is elevator there. The elevator line will be ONLY the southernmost door of the twelve doors at Gate 3.

If you are going to Field Club seats, you need to go to Gate 2 on west side. Entrance will be about the 10-yard line on south endzone, on west side. I can't remember the section numbers for this.

There is another set of Field Club seats on west side. Entrance will be around the 10-yard line on north endzone, on west side. That will be Gate 4.

Find a Best employee with walkie-talkie or a Boy Scout. They will take you where you need to go. Find them before you wait in the wrong line for 45 minutes.

None of the 4 corners have an elevator. Southwest Tower, Northeast Tower, etc.

Probably too late if you are going to the South Carolina game, but if you are going to the Samford game, call the 12th man office and ask for Val. She handles disability access for all Aggie athletics and was AWESOME. We have a friend with one leg in town for a game, and she helped us with lots of logistics suggestions. He uses crutches but also a wheel chair, and she gave great advice. Hope you all have a great time!

It is the Samford game and that exactly who I spoke with. She helped me find greats seats that accommodated my dad. I will definitely share pictures! Thanks again for everyone's help.

I apologize that didn't clarify on the parking pass. We are going to the Samford game. Hope that doesn't cause any issue. Just realized that.
