Has there been a hotel announced that most aggies will stay, assuming we make it to the SEC championship? I'd like to reserve a room early. If not, any recommendations from y'all?

My kid graduated from GT and I always stayed in Mid Town - right near campus. Plenty of options and a relatively safe place.

Walk to stadium not bad - but you may want to Uber back.

I like GT campus but the area to S and W a bit suspect. But is Atlanta.

At the main MARTA station every chain has a " flagship" hotel , you can walk to the stadium and best of all use MARTA to get to and from the airport

I assume some of those rooms will open up as every team except for Bama and us get eliminated.

I live in Atlanta. I'd stay downtown if you can - just Uber at night if you're going more than a block or two without a big group. If downtown is sold out, Midtown and taking MARTA is a good option.

Gateway hotel(several) at airport take the skytrain. Marta to downtown. No need for a car.

Got rooms at the W for a decent rate and good cancellation policy. Gig'em!

This has been touched on here and there, but if we make the CG (and we probably won't because of history and curse etc. - I'm watching you, jinx), and you stay downtown or midtown, I would definitely recommend rideshare / taxi over renting a car. We also have Waymo if you're a big Skynet fan (note: not to/from airport).

Booked last week at Courtland Grand Downtown. Staying to watch Falcons/Seahawks Sunday as well

Last year, the team/ network hotel was the Hyatt Regency downtown. I accidentally booked that hotel that weekend not knowing and it was interesting to see all the stuff going on there with the teams and network people interacting. Rode the elevator with Paul Finebaum as he was bombarded with selfie and autograph requests. If anyone is interested, it may be worth checking to see if this is the official hotel again this year.
