Jimbo is the kind of guy you can genuinely hate without much reason. It's hard to hate a man like Elko.

While it's not OSU's fault the rest of the Big 10 isn't good (unless they've been taking conference-killing lessons from the Sips), the Buckeyes have a situation where they are able to recruit big and play a relatively light schedule. Given that scenario, they should be in the championship playoffs every year. It's going to be tough for anyone to knock them off the perch. If teams like A&M try to add strength to the schedule and don't get rewarded, then what's the point? Kiffin knows his school would be in the exact same situation.

Underrated comment

In different years, their games against Penn St and Michigan look a lot tougher. And their schedule will be rotating some like ours. It's impossible to say how long they'll be able to cruise in the regular season, especially as NIL rules change and other schools get better at that part of the game.
