Good program guy but just doesn't do anything particularly well. Pretty good pass catcher, pretty good pressure pickups, fair power. Once Smith bulked up and morphed into a power back, Daniels doesn't have a clear role.
Amari is a very serviceable RB. He's a great team guy, a nice pass catcher, and a really good pass protector. At the end of the day though, Morrow has more snap to him.
EJ brings way more thump to the table than everyone except Moss.
What a great mix of players we've got in that room.
He is the essential team player. Remember it was just last year that Moss and Owens missed a lot of time and Daniels became the starter. Nothing spectacular but he did his job and stepped in when he was called on and carried us at RB through the rest of the season. Glad to have him even if he's currently 4 or 5 on the depth chart. That speaks more to our depth than his abilities.
