He will play a role at some point.

Good program guy but just doesn't do anything particularly well. Pretty good pass catcher, pretty good pressure pickups, fair power. Once Smith bulked up and morphed into a power back, Daniels doesn't have a clear role.

I thought he was our quick and shifty back. I like Amari. He has been a team player.

Morrow?

he got dinged middle way at Mizzou. he came back but other Rbs picked up the load.

We have 5 solid players at that position. One of them (Moss) is hurt. There's only so many carries to go around.

I think Morrow has just beat him out for those touches.

Morrow was 9 for 15 Saturday. I bet Amari could get more. He is stronger.

Amari is a very serviceable RB. He's a great team guy, a nice pass catcher, and a really good pass protector. At the end of the day though, Morrow has more snap to him.

EJ brings way more thump to the table than everyone except Moss.

What a great mix of players we've got in that room.

He's contributed for years. Hope he gets some good touches in next couple of games to reward him for a strong college career.

Start him against Samford

He is the essential team player. Remember it was just last year that Moss and Owens missed a lot of time and Daniels became the starter. Nothing spectacular but he did his job and stepped in when he was called on and carried us at RB through the rest of the season. Glad to have him even if he's currently 4 or 5 on the depth chart. That speaks more to our depth than his abilities.
