The Fightin' Texas Aggies beat a ranked opponent on the road in November.

November 8th, 2014, the Aggies went to Jordan-Hare Stadium and snuck out with a 41-38 win over then #3 Auburn.

Unlike that Aggie Team, which finished 8-5 overall and 3-5 in conference, this team is now 9-0 and perfect in SEC play! Whoop!

We caught a break in that one. Auburn was driving, our defense was gassed, and their center snapped the ball before the QB was ready. Didn't need anything like that yesterday.

I remember dreading that game because we had performed so badly against a cupcake the prior weekend and I thought we were gonna get spanked. We watched it at my BIL's house and none of us could relax until the last second was off the clock. Fierce BAS that night!

It was a fun win, but it was also very hollow considering we lost all 3 games in October, and proceeded to lose the next 2 games to Mizzou & LSU.

Man that Missouri game might be my least favorite game I've attended at Kyle. After Kenny Hill fell apart and we put Kyle Allen in I thought maybe we'd turned a corner with the ULM and Auburn wins. Game was at night, temps in the 40s, rain coming down in sheets, defense played soft as hell, and we had a Spavtastic offense. That season had become a mess at that point, but it really was the sign of things to come with Sumlin.

Edit: well there was also App State, but I was totally apathetic towards Jimbo at that point. Would rather the mediocrity be shown up front at the beginning of the season instead of giving me some hope and get smacked down in late October and November.
