Today at church one of the deacons, that bought his tshirt at a Walmart when he lived in Dripping Springs, slapped me on the back and told me how terrified he was to play little brother this year. My wife saw me bristle and suggested I help our littlest across the parking lot. The most annoying/ arrogant thing was the SOB that he was paying a compliment when he said it.

I know cool story, bro. My wife isn't and Aggie and there are no others around me. Venting my annoyance on TexAgs is about the best I can do.

I say you just slap the sheet out of him next time. After he's had some time on the ground to reflect on his poor life choices, help him up and send him on his way.

Here is what you do. Smile, maybe even laugh, shake his hand, and then say something mildly trash talking or humorous. Perhaps "we'll show you who is the little brother," and then go on about your day and do not spend another second thinking about the interaction.

My dad's first cousin's family are die hard sips--four sip degrees between them. I do respect their work ethic. The father still holds a full time job at 78--sip engineering grad. WTS, he is very scared too. I haven't seen them like this since the early 90s--very coy. This is a litmus test IMO where a wise and highly intelligent sip is seeing the light of the tables turning. I LOVE IT!
