If we beat LSU, they are out of the Top25 making LSU/Bama less interesting.

Either of those B12 teams could lose in the next two games, dropping the allure of that matchup in Lubbock.

Mizzou and TAMU have byes after this week. Mizzou has to survive Vandy and we will still be Top12 win or lose.

Indiana and OSU both play under .500 teams.

I wonder how much of a PITA it would be to make it out of Gameday (I live about 4 miles from the Mizzou campus)? I'd want to leave as soon as the 11 AM game (hopefully not us) kicked off. I wonder how long it would take to get home?

People (not necessarily you) complain about not getting any recognition and then people complain about other people wanting something that puts us in the spotlight. Cannot really have it both ways.

I think there is 0% chance. Mizzou is on it this week and it would mean going back to back with the same team. Also, I understand that ESPN has gotten flack over a heavy SEC slate for game day this year. For those two reasons, I would think they go somewhere else. Anything as possible I guess, but I would be very very surprised.

I think it's because of our record when involved in ESPN Gameday. We've only won once. People were superstitious with the change of the Uniforms, then we started winning despite what we were wearing, so no people are cool with it.

It's either ND/Navy or Lubbock for BYU & TT.

Unless BYU or Tech loses, the winner of that game has the inside path for a B12 title appearance and a playoff berth.

I don't think people are looking at Mizzou that way right now.

And Navy is very likely to go into that game with ND undefeated and ranked. They'll be 18-20ish would be my guess. 26th in coaches poll and 30th in AP currently. Also Navy has a decent shot at being the G5 representative in the playoffs. Basically whoever comes out of the American or JMU (lol).

SEC has had 7 appearances, B10 has 4 (2 with the SEC). The ACC has had 1 (also with the SEC). Plus the fact that CGD will have just seen Mizzou this week? Yeah not happening.

Wouldn't be back to back. We don't play mizzou next week.

Maybe Gameday can come to College Station during our bye. No way we lose to bye.

No and here's why: lots of non SEC losers have been whining about how much attention the SEC gets. So they'll poke those losers in the eye again and have their annual token game day at an HBCU match up.
