It was my first and last time in tiger stadium. Words cannot describe the scene in south end zone. It looked like a cross between the Star of Hope mission and trailways station downtown Houston.

Ags were undefeated. Tigers 4-7 ish with an Ag, Curley Halleman as coach. Tight game. Leland and Rodney sealed the deal in Q4. LSU had ~35 yds rushing.

We have not won in BR since then until tomorrow night!

I was at the 1990 game in BR. Ags came up short 17-8. Only time I've been to Death Valley and I don't care to go back.

I went in '88. It was a night game, and I watched people carry in the largest cooler I've ever seen, unchecked. We were surrounded by the in the parking lot chanting Tiger Bait. Didn't care until one of them took my sister's 12th Man towel. The stadium reeked of bourbon, and it was absolutely deafening once we got inside.

I went again in '92. It was an early afternoon kickoff. Tiger Stadium was basically a large nondescript stadium. Absolutely nothing like the night game from four years earlier.

I specifically avoid that place for safety reasons.

I was in Tiger Stadium in the '94 game. It was glorious when 'Lectric Leland McElroy busted that long TD run!. Never seen a stadium start emptying out so fast!

I am going to say although there are several trends going against us in this game, I feel good about us winning.

I was there in 1970. Self to McElroy for the lead. Then Dave Elmendorf intercepted and ran to the dressing room with the ball. Those Cajuns were non-pulsed and lack lustered over the turn of events. I'll concede the point that one can only get so drunk. I was gainfully unemployed waiting to go in the Army and the old Ags at the team's hotel bar couldn't buy enough drinks. Problem was that was the high point of the season as we got outscored the next nine games.

It was future Ag DC Phil Bennett's first game as LSU's DC. Later that year they lost to Southern Miss at home and they spitcanned Curly. That was their smallest home crowd in 20 years.

They def.had some talent on that team though - Eddie Kennison and David LaFleur are standouts I remember.

I was there. First trip to Tiger Stadium.

Rodney Thomas had a great game.

Saw a fist fight in the horse shoe, but wasn't close enough tell if any Aggies were involved or just random LSU drunks.

Funniest thing was some white haired old man decked out in Bama gear who stood most of the game. SEC!

Got some Tiger Bait chants for wearing an A&M tshirt. And a cougar behind me gave me a little grief, and eventually a little bit of a shoulder rub as her drinks kicked in and she settled down. Teenage me got some milage out of that.

I was there, in uniform, in 1992 when A&M broke a 17 year long losing streak at LSU.

In the 1992 game on September 5, Texas A&M defeated LSU 24-14 in Baton Rouge, ending a 17-year losing streak at Tiger Stadium. The Aggies held a narrow 17-14 lead until the fourth quarter, when a turnover led to a key touchdown for Texas A&M, securing the win!

I was there. The day started with a gas station stop where an LSU tiger was peeing into the slot of a coke machine and fell down pissing himself. Miserable fans. We had a drunk grandpa, drunk mom, and drunk kid overhanging the upper deck screaming and drooling "tiger bait" all night. It was eye opening. Later that night my buddy found out the hard way how not all girls are actually girls.

I was there. Sitting in the end zone watching Leeland McElroy run our way for winning TD was legendary . It was a 2 car road trip. My dad was an airline pilot at United so he got us an airline discount at the downtown New Orleans Marriott hotel Friday night, and at another Marriott in Baton Rouge Saturday night. Yell practice was awesome. Old school yell held on Bourbon. Got so drunk that I accidentally tipped over the hotel room furniture about 2am. Still to date I don't understand.....but at 8am , 6 hours later I had NO hangover . Totally sober. Found myself reading the New Orleans News Paper at the morning breakfast buffet. So......old army I Am. Top 5 road trip of my life.....to date. Gig EM!!!!!! Moses Rahab. Treehouse Village 3.

Was there….great win, but the experience was interesting. Post game presser, Leeland said he told his O-line to just give him a small seam on the outside and he'd take it to the house. They did and he did.

I swore I'd never go back to Tiger Stadium after that game. Here I am, over 30 years later going back to Tiger Stadium to watch my kid march with the Fightin Texas Aggie Band.

Hate to say this, but LSU lost to Vanderbilt the previous week.

I was at the 1990 game. I remember 4 things:

1. Their tailgating in 1990 was at a level we finally achieved recently.

2. Tiger Stadium at night is loud and crazy, but doable.

3. Todd Kinchen beat us with a long TD catch and a good punt return.

4. An older guy sitting a row below me was wearing a purple and gold sportcoat made entirely of flannel Crown Royal pouches sewn together.

94 game - and we drove back to A&M afterwards. Got home at 630 AM to find the Houston Post on my porch with the game story. Very surreal.

I was not there. Older dorm group went and invited me but of course I went back home that weekend with my high school girlfriend. But I'm not bitter. WENT

Went Johnny's year. That sucked.

Still in Florida on a business trip so I won't make it tomorrow. Ags by 100.

Pardon my ignorance. Did we not pretty much save their program. If so did we ever get paid back?

I was at the 1986 and 1988 LSU games with the Aggie Band. Our director, Lt. Colonel Joe T. Haney, told us to be prepared for drunk and crazy LSU fans, to stick together while in Death Valley, that instruments can be repaired if they were needed to protect ourselves, and that if a fight broke out to "be sure to protect your dear ol' colonel." Unfortunately, we lost both of those games.
