He was asked a question about it at today's conference. Not the denial I'd of wanted to see. Can't think he wants to leave... Just looking for more money?

Don't care what he wants or what he does. When you win something, we'll talk about an extension. Until then, keep doing what we paid you to do and what you said you were going to do.
Get a dog man. If he leaves for any of the jobs on that list, see ya. We'll hire the next guy. I'm ok re-evaluating his contract when he's won something.HoustonAggie427 said:The System said:

Unfortunately I think the cards are in the coaches hands this year. Seasons not over yet and already these P4 jobs are open.
Penn state
Florida
Arkansas
UCLA
Oklahoma State
Virginia Tech
Stanford
He wont leave for the bad jobs on this list, but I bet those ahole sports agents are licking their lips.

Penn state has a $49 million buyout and a $700 million stadium renovation on the books. They aren't looking to break the bank.
Florida and UCLA are not upgrades.
Only schools to be worried about are Georgia, Alabama, t.u., and Ohio State. Don't think any of them will get rid of their coach this year.

I would ask when he plans on winning a game against an SEC opponent for the first time in the months of November and December.
So many tough guys in the interwebs that have no clue how this works…The System said:

Buyout for Franklin disappears when he takes another job.
Florida is on par with A&M. Elko is a smart guy. He's thinking about this stuff. Which is why he didn't shut down the rumors.

December? WTF?
It's his 2nd year and there are not SEC games in December. He has already put your 6-6 prediction to shame for the season so maybe you should sit this one out.

Actually what he said in the Presser, was the entire discussion was a waste of brain space.
Would you give up a team and program currently ranked #3 with one of the biggest NIL Portal spends to re start at UF? Seriously?

Of course he will. At the moment he has the same record in two years as Kalen DeBoer at Alabama. And with all the high profile jobs open, the question isn't if but when.
If he did this, then it was only a matter of time anyway.Sterling82 said:Guy12 said:

And if Bama loses another game this year the long knives will be right back out. Exactly the reason we shouldn't make any offer until we know what this season looks like. If he cuts a deal with someone else in the meantime without knowing what our deal might look like, it's on him.

He can walk then, no more contract extensions/raises for unproven coaches that we have to fire two years later.

He's not going anywhere during the season.
So how about we wait a month before we talk extension.

Amen.
Plenty of good coaches out there. If he wants out, let him go.

It would just be nice to be like Indiana and get it out of the way so there are no distractions moving forward. It seems like every time we have a chance to achieve something stuff like this lingers over it (see Schlossnagle)
