Reed would be near the top of the heisman list if the refs didn't steal the big play from us every single game with late flags on bogus calls. Absolutely ridiculous and even more impressive that we have overcome it every time thus far.

This team passes the eye test regardless of the final score.

And another big game next week, at a place notorious for bad calls, especially in the dark. We'll have to overcome it once again. I think we're ready.

I really love how we score a touchdown and get real excited then the the TV producers put up the yellow flag banner evry damn time. They wait till we score then they put it up.

It's actually sickening that as fans we can't enjoy any big plays because we know an arbitrary flag's gonna be thrown on us. Nothing that infuriates me more. The two worst were the ND kick return and Marcel's run today.

You have to wait until we're lining up for the extra point to celebrate. But by then it's already time to focus on the extra point.

My wife won't give me a touchdown kiss until she makes sure we haven't drawn another flag.

You dog.

Let them secure the catch at least.

Marvel's was egregious, but remember that without that flag on Bus she's KO return, Notre Dame is on offense with roughly 2 minutes to win that game. That flag was a blessing since it gave us time to put together a clock chewing game winning drive.

You have to admit we got away with a holding call on the last TD against ND. Doesn't always go against us.

Wait for the officiating next week.

They'll have all sorts of voodoo up their sleeves. I can only expect the worst called game of the year coming up.

That cracks me up. My wife won't let me either. Every time we score she says well that was cool but they'll just call it back.

Don't worry, Reed has y'all's backs. He's a great wingman.

OK, but 99.9% of the time we get effed.

My guess is if you looked at message board comments of other fan bases about refs you would find they all think they are overwhelmingly screwed over by the refs.

If I were the LSU OL coach I'd just have the team hold until they start throwing flags. That was kinda what Arky was doing. It's going to be very hard to beat LSU if we can't pressure Nussmeyer. That guy's success rate with a clean pocket vs pressure is pretty dramatically different.

Makes me think k of when Miles Garrett played and they basically just let guys hold him because that was the ONLY way even SEC OL could stand a chance on every play.

That one yesterday, I was already balls deep in mine when they said there was a flag.

Agree completely. Hindsight's 20/20, glad it happened, but boy was I mad when it did. Mainly because you never see it the other way around. Yes, they missed the hold on us last play, but game on the line, officials typically let them play. Not to mentionwe were flagged way more than they were that game.

Well sure. What frustrates me is the lack of ticky-tack calls on the other side when we get them constantly. I hate excuses and hate pointing the finger at them, but sometimes it seems really obvious. The hold they called on Craver earlier in the Arky game on Smith's TD run was the same kinda deal. Luckily we scored again next play.

That has been the strategy of every team we play. We need a judo instructor to teach our DL how to break wrists or arms. Tell them once to stop holding. After that send them to the bench. The league won't do anything to stop teams holding us.
I hate tu. It's in my blood.

Was at the ND game in the end zone where Bussey received the ball and I swear as he broke into the open left of the logo clear on the other side of the mid field logo that ref threw the flag. I turned behind me to two Notre Dame fans before Bussey even reached the end zone and I said that flag is bull****, and they said well I'm not sure we'll have to see if they put it on replay lol because I knew they weren't going to.. yes luckily it did work out in our favor but at the time it was BS.

I can't be the only one that has looked at those calls and been like "yeah, that's holding". It's annoying, and usually doesn't impact the play, but the calls are real. Not just phantom bad calls.
