Do any of you have trouble believing in this team?

Every team we beat I think "yeah but". We beat Notre Dame but they got beat last week too and it was super close. We beat Auburn but we barely beat them and they aren't ranked. We beat Mississippi State but they they aren't ranked. We beat Florida but even if they beat Texas the aren't ranked.

I just don't feel like we have truly been tested and I don't want to get my hopes up just to get them dashed at the end of the year again.

Until the Ags are consistent in beating the teams they should and going 50/50 on the big key match ups (not upsets) then I'll continue to address my BAS.

And this coming from an Ag of the early 1990s, who remembers consistently being ranked in the top 10, and not losing at home for almost 6 years.

I suppose I wouldn't feel this if we were totally dominating opponents this year. But I wasn't impressed with UTEP and Utah State wins (though now I honestly think Elko held back playbook and was watching players, not playing for the blow outs). ND could have easily been a loss, almost three picks. Since then, I did have the sense in each game we "had them under control," but again, no "domination" like we occasionally did in the early 1990s.

I want to believe... I really do... but a lot of time has passed from the glory days of the early 90s....

I'll be impressed when we make the playoffs. I've been burned way too often to think we've made it...at this point in the season.

Beating the teams you are supposed to beat are what championship teams do, man. You think Ohio State plays ranked teams every week?

I told myself years ago that I will not allow myself to get excited until we get to 10 wins. I will enjoy the games, celebrate the wins for a day, and not lament any loss once the game is over. But I'm not getting sucked in until we at least get to 10 wins.

Enjoy the journey. It's a football game. It's but a part of the totality of being part of Texas A&M. Win or lose won't change my pride of wearing my Aggie ring and knowing it is one of the finest universities in the world and nothing else is like it.

Gaht damn, didn't know the low T center was kept in business by Aggies.

Yes. This team will trip on its dick like always. Probably this weekend. It's the only real tradition I've ever known.

We didn't play UTEP, we played UTSA. Also, Elkos goal isn't to impress you (or anyone else for that matter) his goal is to win. Why do people do this crap?! "ND could have easily been a loss" come on man… if my aunt was a man she'd be my uncle (or maybe a democrat… who knows these days)

The fact is we are 6-0 heading into a very tough stretch of our schedule and as a fan, why not just enjoy the games as they come… what happened 4-5 weeks ago has no impact on how the Ags play today in Fayetteville.

It's unwise to guarantee anything on the performance of a bunch of boys unless there's one mean sob keeping them in line.

I moved to Aggieland 4 months ago and have gone all in. I have been to 2 games, every midnight yell. I was attending USF in 2007 when we reached #2 in the country and then lost 3 straight.

I identify with BAS already. I love this town(s) and I love all of you already. But beat LSU and BAS is toast.

How about for y'all " new posters" on here instead of crying about something that hasn't happened this year … be happy and cheer and support this team that up to this point is pretty dang good and fun to watch!! So frustrating to me that folks still want to cry….. I doubt we go 12-0 and don't get me wrong would love to go 12-0 .... so a loss of two is ok and doesn't mean BAS…

This is one of those games the team should win. But the last 40 years of watching Aggie football, I can clearly see our team lay an egg. I hope not. But it would be so Aggie to lose to Arky after they fired their head coach in the middle of their football season.
