Notre Dame and tu.

Shocked. Shocked I tell you.

Two of the most butt-kissed teams ever.

Be who you are, and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

Notre Dame may stay that way but there is no way the sips make it through the rest of their schedule alive. I am really hoping Vandy takes it to them in Austin!

To be fair to Notre Dame, they genuinely have 2 quality losses.

My thoughts are totally unbiased

True… but we absolutely want ND to rate out as high as they can so let's not complain too much about it this season.

Why stop with Vandy?

I'd just say Kentucky in Lexington, Mississippi State in Starkville, Vandy in Austin, Georgia in Athens, Arkansas in Fayetteville, and A&M in Austin. Or more succinctly, I hope they lose out.

If we are sitting there at 10-2 to finish the season you want Notre Dame to be as high as possible. If we do that there is a good chance that we will finish with two ranked wins and two ranked losses.

ND at least has close losses to two top 5 teams. tu has a loss to OSU and a 2-4 Florida.

Refs always kiss both teams asses too. Told one of my buddies that game deciding calls only ever go one way for certain teams and was called a hater. He tried to convince me that it's somehow better for A&M to play a Texas team that's undefeated. I told him it's actually better for us if Texas loses every single game every year.

They also have something ND doesn't - a high quality win.

Right now, it looks like a quality win but by the end of the season Oklahoma could be a 6-6 team. Oklahoma finishes with Ole Miss, Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri and LSU.

He's gonna say OU who should have lost to Auburn but the refs swallowed the whistle.

And that OU win will look worse as the season goes on. OU is going to suffer a few more losses for sure.

You can if, and, or but the win all you want… that will end up probably being a higher quality win than any ND gets in the regular season. And a win is always better quality than 'but it was close against 2 really good teams' moral victories.

ND deserves it since their losses are to current #2 and #4 teams. tu? They can suk it. Don't deserve sht.

strangely enough...the sips beat OU too soundly

a final score of 23-16 instead of 23-6 would make OU still look like a possible 10-2 team

but the Sooners were awful -- appear headed to 8-4 or 7-5

This is why I'd be happy to never play those arrogant sobs again. Just this weekend their punt return td had at least 3 illegal blocks. We get flagged for phantom blocks on any decent returns by KC. Oklahomas poorly officiated game lead to more flags than I've ever seen when we played them. Georgia getting same white glove treatment. It has happened too many times to be coincidence.

I'd wish them the inverse of 2009. Being so bad that other teams slide in the polls if they don't wipe the floor with them.

Short of the disbandment of their program and sorry excuse for a school, of course.

Not sure why everyone thinks Ou is so great. I thought it was crazy when they started the season ranked ahead of us, but just another reason why rankings don't matter at that time.

t.u. definitely loses to Georgia and A&M, and finish 8-4. And if they lose to the Hogs, I'll fall out of my chair and laugh 5 minutes straight.

And sips will NEVER admit to it. They just claim they have a better team and everyone else is just a hater.

Notre Dame has 2 losses to No. 2 Miami and No. 4 Texas A&M by a combined margin of 4 points. In contrast, Texas has 2 losses to No. 1 Ohio State and 2-4 (1-2 SEC) Florida.

Texas is a 12.5-point road favorite at Kentucky and will probably be a road favorite at Mississippi State, but I won't be surprised if Mississippi State beats Texas. It would be hilarious if Mississippi State loses a road game at Florida on Saturday for their 15th consecutive SEC loss and snaps that losing streak with a win over Texas next Saturday.

Texas will probably be a home favorites over Vanderbilt and Arkansas, and a road underdog at Georgia. I think Texas will lose to Georgia and either Mississippi State or Vanderbilt for a 7-4 record before playing us.

In all fairness to ND, both of their losses (both very close) are currently ranked in the top 4 and they've been bludgeoning the rest of their schedule. Texas, idk lol.

Because off-season prognosticators spend about 90% of their time focusing on the QB and less than 1% analyzing line play. It is the same reason South Carolina was ranked so high (and to a slightly lesser degree, Florida as well).

I mean who else you gonna rank In front of them?

ND has 2 losses to 2 teams currently in the top 4 and the combined margin of defeat in those 2 games is 4 points

One of Texas losses is on the road by 7 to the top ranked team in country and have a win over then #6 team on a neutral field.

People here can call it biased all they want and get all pissy and butthurt thinking they are getting something they don't deserve , but those ranking are justified for ND and Texas

ND is really good. We were lucky to get out of there with a W. How often does a holder fubar a snap? I'll take it tho. Glad to see our defense improvement since that game too.

and we really need ND to win

Our win in South Bend needs to look as strong as possible come playoff selection time.

If we just win our games the rest of the season, the other teams rankings don't matter. We just need to take care of our business and let the cards fall where they may.

sippy will pile on Kentucky like they were Sam Houston. Every talking sports head will scream that sippy is back. Talk of bequeathing the Heisman to the Immaculate Manning will resurface. Just about the time that every t-shirt sip digs their tear soaked apparel out of the dirty clothes hamper, sippy collapses at cowbell, gets pummeled by Pavia, and beat up by the bulldogs. And it will be GLORIOUS!

Arky is in Austin, but besides that, sure.
