He was on his way out, and was being used by a spiteful BMA trying to keep our program mediocre for 5-10 more years.

He wasn't a smart person. He looked good in a suit and was a charmer so he was a good fundraiser. He was hired to be Jimbo/Jimmy Sexton's lap dog. Rolling out building projects just as the CFB world is shifting to paying players was dumb. There is lots to criticize Trev over, but he seems to understand the new model for college sports is to try to funnel players as much money as possible.

I think after the Stoops fiasco, he was told to seek employment elsewhere.

It's like, his agent(sexton)gets him the Ohio state gig, but the deal was he had to try and hire his other client (stoops).

The fact that it even got as far as it did makes me have a complete lack of confidence in the leadership of Texas A&M. I don't like to think about how that same leadership could/has hurt this university in other ways.
