John Mateer played like ass that's for sure. They also can't run the ball. Good defense but a flawed team and not worthy of top 10 ranking.

ou isn't good. Venebles lucked out that the two best teams he faced before the sips cannot pass well at all so he loaded the box and exposed them. Even though Arch is just an average QB he was the best passing offense they have faced which exposed them. The sips aren't good offensively this year either.

Also, ou has no running game and Mateer is usually bad against power 4 teams so he went back to his average.

It was great to see. This gives the sips hope they might be good (they aren't) and starts the losses for ou for the rest of the year.

OU is big 12 material still.

OU's schedule is about to get crazy difficult. I think it's very likely OU loses at least half of their remaining games.

Their defense is still good. You actually look at the stats and the numbers compare decently to how OSU and UF handled Texas.

You just can't leave a defense out to dry forever without it finally snapping, particularly when you are -3 on turnovers.

Minimum. They have 5 ranked teams and @USC left. Zero run game won't get it done in the SEC. They have a very good D but if you are one dimensional on O you're going to struggle.

It was obvious in the Michigan game. No offense outside of a PAC 12 reject who has never been through a full season of non-cupcake defenses.

Minimum 4 more losses coming.

How about Oregon. They were anointed top five based on beating PSU which right now doesn't look like much.

I ain't dogging anyone until we make it thru the next 3+ weeks on our schedule.

If we say everyone should beat Auburn AND got by ND due to a missed xtra point we should keep our mouths shut and worry about ourselves.

While true, Penn State was a very different team mentally 3 weeks ago.

Hard to compare.

They have O-Line issues and you cannot win in the SEC with a bad O-Line.

They are going to lose 3-4 more games.

Yea Oregon was at Home. And the OU QB was playing with a surgically repaired throwing hand thumb. I'd say the Oregon collapse is more shocking. Right now PSU is in consideration for worst team in the B10. Texas is far from the worst in the SEC.

Due to prior scheduling commitments, sip and ou had all their cupcake/OOC games up front.
Kind of Like when we went to the SEC and went from 9 conference games and Arky as an OOC game to 8 conference games with Arky as one of them. We had to scrape the bottom of the barrel for teams to play because we had to come up with two new OOC games.
After this season with 9 conference games, the November cupcake probably goes away.
