We are not gonna get any real credit unless we handle business vs Arky, and then beat LSU in Baton Rouge for the first time since joining the SEC and going back all the way to 1994.

A letdown in any of the next 3 games will completely wipe out any progress we've made in most people's minds

I would just like us to win 10+ games so we can put the Texas 8&4 thing to rest.

It sounded to me like he said it mildly derisively in that he knows the media is going to stroke them off no matter what since they simply won while ignoring everything else going on in college football.

If we win 2 of the next 3 we likely have a playoff spot locked up before we head to Austin.

IF we win at Arkansas, AND LSU wins at Vandy....it will set up a national showdown in Red Stick, (if Georgia beats Ole Piss, next weekend, Gameday likely at LSU 10/25 as well)....that would be THE game that nation pays attention to. Win and we will have officially entered a new era in Aggie Football.

The other commentator had ask the question "why do you think A&M isn't getting more attention (something like that)? While the "Texas sucks oxygen" reply is true I also think it's because of the way we are winning. No big blow outs, just taking care of business and locking down on opponents like an Anaconda for the last 8 mins of the 4th qtr..

It's straight forward. Most sport media members are just glorified fans. They root for and against certain programs and it's fairly transparent. It shows up in their work regardless of how "professional" they claim to be. The devent ones are honest about it.
