It will 100% cost us big time at some point this season, and it's inexcusable that we're having to deal with it

I don't remember all of Bond's attempts, but I remember him having to kick a lot of 45+ yarders, which aren't exactly easy for any FG kicker.
Punt blocking is not good. We had one blocked at ND, and every team gets close

Yeah, a field goal kicker in the SEC who only makes half of his kicks is just "something to ***** about." Definitely not a legit concern at all.

So "it's hard" is an excuse? It happens weekly at the high school level. If this isn't a concern, it should be.
Return game is generally strong even with all the penalties.
Overall STs is solid. Hard do bag on a college OK for 50+ yards. He is fine < 50.

I coach an 8th grader in the Austin area that hit 9 straight last week in practice from 45 yards.
He wants to be a veterinarian so I'll keep you guys posted.

The leg is there. Pre-game he's dead center. When the lights are on 50+, he just misses. Tells me he's thinking too much, going through a different rhythm under pressure, or gets the jitters.
If he can figure it out he can be an NFL kicker.

You might want to go check the Bama boards right now. And LSU is notorious for ripping on their kickers, especially around 10-15 years ago.

You do you bub. I think we should want to have a kicker who makes more than 60% of his FGs. We play SEC football; this isn't middle school.
Just watched the kicker from Indian kick back to back 58 yarders. I hate kickers and hope we NEVER need them. Ill take 5 extra points and be happy to have them. But at some point this year, I feel we will end up in a rock fight and need him... might be tonight.
