I have to admit, when he was first appearing on GameDay, I didn't like him. I thought he was obnoxious and annoying. I was mistaken. He kind of makes the show now. He has softened the blow of losing Corso and I think he brings a lightheartedness to the rest of the cast. He's knowledgeable but also extremely entertaining. His outlandish personality cracks up his co-hosts and leaves the audience wondering what he's going to do next. Outside of that, the charity he provides to young college students is admirable.

No, I'm not related to him. I was a little critical of him in the past but he's grown on me and just wanted to give him his due.

He's doing a good job of taking over Corso's role as the final pick of the show. I'll allow it.

He loves A&M this year. Always very complimentary of Elko.

His white "bro" schtick was cool at first, but its quickly becoming exhausting IMO.

When he did the high dive at Miami stripping down to his underwear and adjusting his junk, I knew he was over the top. No telling what he was like as a child.

But let's not go nuts, he is absolutely obnoxious. It's his schtick.

He brought energy back to GameDay and then upped it 2X.

Literally just said this to someone this morning.


Couldn't stand him at first but now I think hes great.

Anyone was better than Corso. He was slowly dying on air every week.

My guess is that some folks here have done the same, $20 at a time.

He's good in small doses I have found. His clips on Youtube are the perfect amount. And it took some time to dial in his approach and energy to college level crowds. Still feeling it out I am sure. Not my favorite but he is far from the worst.

I didn't like him either. But when I realized that that whole persona isn't really a shtick but it's him just kinda going for it, I started liking him more.

The balance between him and Saban is great.

Agreed, I think he also softened his approach a bit. When he first started it was like he treated every segment like a pro wrestling intro, now he only does that a couple times a show. Much more balanced and it's helped a bunch.

This, he went a little too hard with the schtick in the beginning, but they seem to have the right dose of it now. He is very knowledgeable and has some good takes when he's being normal, and the crazy was taking away from that. I think Saban has also been a fantastic add and I didn't think it would work, but he has proven me wrong, and he and McAfee seem to have a great complimentary aspect. Like Saban is the buttoned up dad, with the very talented but loose cannon of a son, who tolerates him to an extent but can reel him back in when needed with fear.

His show on ESPN is very highly rated (viewers that is.) He takes a little getting used to.

But his Podcast which is NOT broadcast is wild.
