When a LB breaks a WR's jaw coming across the middle or rips a QB's helmet off and holds it up for the crowd then I'll jump in board. This year's defense is solid but it isn't a WC defense. Not yet. But definitely has potential to get there.

Players would be banned for life if they did this type of stuff these days (joking, to a degree).

Don't let the change of the game or the gatekeeping of others stop you from using or chanting Wrecking Crew, imo.

It is impossible to have a defense that anywhere near resembles the WC defenses of old. You'd have 200 yards of penalties and your two deep ejected every game.

No you won't. You'll complain about how the defense and players have no discipline and we are the most poorly coached team in the country because that'll be 15 yards and an ejection.

Not me, mother****er. I'm not a puss like most of the other posters whining before your comment. Only needs to be done once, not saying every play. But the OG WC defenses instilled FEAR in opposing offenses. We ain't there yet, Chachi. And half the posters in this board were still ****ting their diapers the last time a real WC defense took the field.
