I feel like it's hard to evaluate Klein without knowing Reed's role? We're any of those RPO's he should have pulled? Missed reads?

I don't remember them running any RPO's. It's like they are trying to make Reed a pocket passer when his strength is rolling out and passing on the run or taking off running.

I feel like I was watching an entirely different game than all of the people hating on Klein. We had over 400 yards of offense against a respectable defense, were perfectly balanced run vs pass, and left 10 points on the board directly through FG missed and a penalty that brought a TD back which aren't Kleins fault at all. That's not mentioning the interception where all 3 players directly involved in the play (C, QB, and WR) all screwed up. Would a 33-3 final score still be drawing this ire from you? Because that's the minimum of where we'd be without the fluky nonsense. We moved the ball at will and almost every unsuccessful drive was because of the refs. Obviously the penalties are a concern but the offense is humming through 4 games.

Coaches aren't nearly as smart as they think they are. If you need proof of this statement, rewatch today's game.

Sure, blame the coach and not the players who had over 100 yards in penalties that cost us at least 14 points IMHO. Aggies have always been one of the most stupid teams around. Elko still hs work to do on that.

With that being said, why is Klein even calling these deep ball plays? Reed excels in the 15-20 yard passes. Why even waste valuable downs on these long ball plays?

Klein is good. The issues were not his fault.

He made one bad play call.

The refs stopped several drives and took a TD away. Move on.

I learned while coaching softball even if your pitcher is having trouble ea certain pitch you keep throwing it just so they have to respect that it is still an option

yes the D will eventually figure it out, but try and stop those rcvrs. They get open pretty well on deep balls.

I agree that the refs were dog ****. I disagree that he only made one bad play call. He still calls a number of cheap Big XII calls that he should have learned by now don't work in the SEC. I don't want him fired or anything, because I think he has potential to be very good. I do think that Elko should rip his ass for some of his calls that he should have known better by now.

Klein is dreadful. Every drive, he called the same run up the middle on first down, screen pass on second, and then had an offense that acted like they'd never seen a blitz before on third. He is terrible.

The D did play well.

But... Arnold is terrible.

That pass on 3rd down that got called back for illegal man downfield was awesome. The first two series of the game were strong. We had a lot go against us that clouded it. Yes, some questionable calls but those happen every single game no matter the team. He has been good. Try to 'emotion' less when everything doesn't look perfect.

Yall are a miserable group of idiots that just want to wallow, even after a win....
