That is only going to happen if he continues to get booed and is then benched. If he continues to struggle and they are 5-3 after 7 games look for him to sit out the remainder of the year due to an injury.

The bigger question is when to the Manning's realize he's not being developed properly thereby pulling the plug. This will be the deciding factor.
He's kinda Tebow light.
Good feet, decent size (but not Tebow size), has the ability to throw but just not very well apparently.
Hard to know if it's a vision thing or an accuracy thing.

The kid throws like a 6 year old trying to throw a full sized ball.
That's a major problem that should've been addressed 10 years ago. If his name was anything other than Manning, he wouldn't have even been recruited to play D1 ball with that throwing motion.

Sark has plenty of QB skins on his wall, so I doubt it's a development thing.
It's also too early to tell much of anything.

Sure he has skins but they're all mediocre…I have a gut feeling mediocrity isn't gonna cut it for the manning family. Arch will continue to get booed and when he gets tired of being crapped on by the worlds worst fans, he'll transfer.

That's when we will hear that, truthfully, his shoulder was bothering him.
If he transfers, I think it will be because he doesn't have anything around him. Their receivers are garbage, their RB's are garbage, and their line is garbage. Oh, and the offensive scheme is garbage . . . to the extent they have any kind of scheme. But, yes, so far he is garbage too. I just hope things stay this way until we play them.

Hitting an open receiver with plenty of time to throw and no pressure is one metric that has nothing to do with the competition.
That's called throwing against air, and he can't do it.
I don't have any answers to the questions in this thread, but I am pretty sure I am going to enjoy watching this play out over the next month or so.

Definitely the Garden District, given his family's $$$ and quickness to circle the wagons.
They have 3 possible losses on their schedule, OU, GA, and us. If they win 2 of the 3 then they are in the playoff and nobody will care that he struggled. The rest of the schedule is really easy.
If he loses 2 or all 3 of those games then they will be looking at different QBs and Manning will be told behind closed doors that he needs to move along.
I predict Sark will adjust their offense to a pure running game, Manning will score something around 20td himself on the ground, Manning will suck passing all year but it won't matter, and Texas will win 2 of their 3 real games remaining and be in the playoff. Even with Mannings suckage, they are a tough game for us to win. Our OL does not match up well with what their Defense does well.
