For all of the Positive Mindset individuals, here is how BAS is defined:

1. If you can't persevere through annual Aggie Football challenges/setbacks (No football championships in recent history), it indicates a lack of resilience, a mental state where you struggle to adapt and "bounce back" from road game losses, failed head coaches or QB injuries.

2. This historical 8 - 4 record team weakness can manifest individuals into low mental toughness, leaving you less able to cope with SEC-level college football stress and the pressure to achieve a 9-3 or 10-2 season record.

3. Lastly, it's a sign that you have a weak positive mindset or build excessive self-doubt, that results in your inability to "See The Possibility" and therefore "You Just Stay Negative" and simple say - We are 8 & 4.

Possible clinical & spiritual recommendations for this chronic mindset =
--- Have faith in both God & Aggie Football - You will Win in the end.

--- It starts this Saturday with Touchdown Jesus & The Aggies Winning

Or, it just means you see things realistically, instead of through a set of Pollyanna glasses.
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

Thanks for the correction - "the most cool guy" very appreciated.
You and I disagree on our 2025 season outcomes, but I respect your thoughts.

Luckily, I do not have "Battered Aggie Syndrome" --
as I am a Believer in Positive Things happening for our Aggie Football Team in 2025.

Positive Aggies have made a habit of leveraging censorship to try and hide the negativity. Maybe just let them talk and you just talk about the positives and see who convinces whom.

Can always remind them Highway 6 runs both ways and call them two percenters if your reason and rhetoric fail…

That's wonderful.

I hope it helps our safeties take proper angles and wrap up.

If you went to the Ucla game in 2017 no further explanation needed.

Do we get to point and laugh if you're wrong ? I'm not even saying I think we'll win but I won't concede in advance either

Past performance is not an indicator of future returns and in this particular case that is a good thing.

Sure, but also vice-versa.

We have a history of mediocrity. It extends beyond whomever the coach is, and explains alot of the issues.

We're just an 8-4 school but since 3 of those wins are against terrible teams we pay to come and lose we are really a 5-4 team every year.

Fair enough . One day the worm will turn tho. I dunno
If this is the year or not but it will happen at some point and it will be all the sweeter for all of us when it does … or rather I should say will be all the sweeter for those of us that are still alive to see it.

All of this rhetoric depends on one thing, WINNING! How can a mental state, mental toughness and how can a weak mind set be prevented without the number one objective, Winning. The average fan cannot be on the field? It takes the A&M team to WIN!!!
