Carr throwing the ball under pressure will provide interception opportunities.
If the A&M secondary can achieve (1) interception they win the game.

I'd like to think the worse the odds the better out team, too!!!

If they run the ball for at least 200 yards (which I think they will), the secondary wont matter.
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

If the secondary wins the game for us, it will be because they finally figured out good angles and the importance of run support.

They finally learned how to turn around and locate the ball vs tackling the WR before the ball arrives for an easy 15 yard PI?

They will make shoestring tackle after shoestring tackle as Love guts the front seven.

Our D-Line is the question and the answer as to whether we win or not. Period.

I thought about this last night. I think if we can be +2 on turnovers and get 160+ yds rushing we'll win this game. One thing we have not been with Reed at the helm is turnover prone. ND qb has quite a bit less game experience vs Reed. If we can manage at least 160 rushing it means Reed was able to back ND off the LOS with his passing.

I am not saying I expect this altho it wouldn't shock me either. I'm just saying if we can pull that off we'll win the game.

Our secondary has been poor against much worse teams, both at covering receivers and stopping the run. There are a lot of things that could decide this game, but our secondary winning the game for us is about the least likely scenario. We don't have a front seven that can shut down Notre Dame's run game, so I don't foresee us getting to pin our ears back and rush Carr very much in this game.

After Cashius Howell gets 3 Sacks in a row on ND's attempted "winning drive", the Secondary won't have to win the game for us.
