Napier's fate is sealed. We need to step up our recruiting of their HS commits, and after we play them start recruiting Florida players for the portal. If the situation were reversed that is exactly what they would do.

We badly need elite linebackers, safeties, and interior DL. We should start there, assuming we have the cap space.

If looking at players (current or incoming) from that USF v UF game, I think the effort should be made to look at the very top South Florida players that are going to be 21-23 years old, instead of the 18-year-old Florida recruits.

That's two pretty definitive statements there.

If hart projects to be the starter in 27 then I'm guessing g he wins the backup job in 26 otherwise O'Neil has a leg up on him for being the 27 starter

Truth is no one knows who will start in 27

Could be O'Neil, could be hart, could be casuga, could even be reed if he stays for all of his eligibility

Just depends on how he projects to the draft and who knows out of that group if any of them transfer out before 27
