Was mentioned on telecast that it was.

If so….Cassius deserves a thread to immortalize a sequence of plays that was never seen before and may never be seen again in our lifetimes.

I just asked ChatGPT and AI with all its internet knowledge says there is no documented case of any player in college ever getting 3 sacks in 3 consecutive defensive plays. We saw a historical anomaly today.

Don't know if it's first in Aggie history, but has happened before.

"Three Sack Jack was Wisconsin inside linebacker Jack Cichy, who missed the first half of the bowl after picking up a targeting foul in the regular season finale at Minnesota on Nov. 28.

To say the least, Cichy had some stored-up energy and frustration.

On first down, he sprinted through a gap between the USC right guard and tackle to sack Kessler. On second down, he blitzed the gap between the center and right guard for another sack.

The running back whiffed on Cichy on the first play. Nobody touched No. 48 on the second one, not a single offensive lineman even moved in his direction, and Cichy suplexed Kessler.

On third down and forever, or so it seemed, third and 31, Cichy overpowered tailback Ronald Jones, chased down Kessler and tackled him from behind for a third consecutive sack.

The Trojans were forced to punt from their own 29-yard line on a fourth-and-38.

"I was on a blitz each time but I came right open,'' Cichy explained afterward. "On the last one, I got some resistance, but I didn't think I'd come free each time. I'd think they'd pick it up.''"

closest I've seen to this...

Von Miller on Nebraska's final drive in the Ags' classic 9-6 victory in 2010:

1st down sack
2nd down pressure
3rd down sack
4th down pressure

COMPARE
Michael Strahan's playing weight @ 6ft 5in for the NFL was around 255 pounds, though he gained more weight to reach a high of about 285 pounds early in his career to bulk up as advised.

You asked the program that routinely draws images of people with six fingers on a hand and this makes you an expert?

Farming out your brain will only make you stupid. AI is drugs, man.

You asked the wrong AI then. Cause I just googled and it mentioned both Howell and Jack Cichy in the 2015 Holiday Bowl. It also mentioned Matthew Judon in the NFL in 2018, who it said was the first to do so since 2006.

And yet, ESPN's College Football Final couldn't be bothered to mention it. They spent approximately 20-30 seconds to flash the touchdown by KC but that was about it. No mention, no helmet sticker. It's a shame, Howell deserves more recognition for his outstanding play.

They showed it and had a counter on screen. Guy said he felt like he was on sesame Street.

I must've seen the reduced version. I recorded it just to see and didn't. Hmmmm. Oh well, I retract my previous post (verbally).

Coincidentally, Myles Garret almost did it yesterday against the Joe Burrow. Had 2 sacks back to back and on the 3rd play got some pressure but someone else was credited with the sack
