Have a feeling we will not want to put anything on tape this week and will focus on a lot of fundamentals. It wil mean we won't score as much as people think, and might even give up a little more than people think. Not necessarily a bad thing.

As for the O/U i am taking the over.

This is probably the first time there's been a ranked team playing a big underdog early in the season, so the odds makers probably don't really know what they're doing in setting the line. I'm sure they're not taking into account how we might approach this game before a big game next week.

Offense struggles again. Run game established but dropped passes reemerge. Defense gives up a couple big plays but cleans up the DL for the most part and establishes dominance. Garbage time TD makes it closer than it looks.

Bronco Mendenhall had some solid, hard-nosed teams at BYU and UVA. They have legit size on both sides as well.

-30 will be tough to cover with the players looking ahead to Notre Dame. Pretty easy money.

I would bet we don't cover (without looking at what the line is) because we will get up big and start rolling the backups into the game and it will get sloppy.

Wouldn't touch this one with a ten foot poll. Expecting defense to look much better this week but we could easily play 2nd half with backups . Covering or not covering does not matter in the slightest.

I think we should start the second team this week so notre dame doesnt learn what we might do against them next week.

Maybe even backups of backups!

In the long run, there is more money to be made than not in betting on a no-cover. We are notorious for that.

The over/under can be a bit dicier. Are our receivers more motivated because of their performance last week? Or will they be told to hold back so as not to give our next opponent too many clues? Will we try to establish a running game, and will it be any kind of effective? On the other side, will we be adjusting our defensive schemes, and will this result in success or failure?

That being said, -32 1/2 is absurd. Were one of my nephews to come to me and ask, I would tell them to take Utah State.

I took the Ags at 30.5, seems money moving on the ags as its moved to +32.5.
