Having watched KC at NC State I was expecting a lot from him. He showed he is a top tier receiver and return man. Carver, I knew he was fast but having not seen a lot of him he hs excellent hands. KC and Carver both made running catches on the bubble of balls around their knees. Every former receiver on here knows that is a receivers toughest adjustment. #87 Nate B made a tough catch over the middle in traffic. A ball thrown in a tight window and he caught the ball with his hands and got smashed. They looked good. Black caught a ball. Roman had a catch and looked really quick. Bussey had a catch and some good returns. The more the defense focus is on KC & Craver they will real threats. The freshman back #23 looked really comfortable catching ball on his reception. Cannot wait to see these guys this week.

Yes

This is the first time in many years where it will help us win games.

Craver was pretty good too.

The speed is night and day. 1, 2, & 7 are one tackle away from taking it to the house every time they touch the ball. Very nice to see us get separation

by far the best thing about Saturday's game

elite WR's give you a chance to win when your defense has a bad day

the Ags still have a shot in shootouts

I suspect Concepcion will lead the team in catches, but Craver in yards. I've been contending since he committed that Craver is the most uniquely talented offensive player. He's got Josh Downs upside and I think his floor is Kavonta Turpin. Concepcion reminds me of Randall Cobb - undersized but compact and strong, not uniquely quick or fast, but elite at setting up angles and seeing the field. I think Concepcion's NFL floor is Ainias Smith.

And I'll keep shouting from the rooftops that Bussey is a RB.

Agree with your last statement. Monday morning quarterbacking but it seems Owens doesn't like contact and is more comfortable in space (e.g., the slot). Bussey has great vision finding running lanes and runs hard. We know he can block! I'd love to see this switched but no way it happens in the middle of the season - I'd be shocked.

Completely agree. If Owens can't get some decent production behind this Oline he needs to move to WR to take advantage of his speed.

Will see more of same against USU. Domers are going to have to go M2M and pick WR safety top cover.

This should open up TE seam, Owens release and Marcel runs. Then add Marcel zone read which will help run game.

Teams will have to adjust to this fact which means the box won't be loaded and our run game should be able to do a lot better than on Saturday. I think our offense could be the best since JFF and the amazing surrounding cast but only time will tell.

I didn't know we had a WR corporation. What are the advantages to that over an LLC?

Or...

I didn't know we had a receiving corporation. Is that part of a larger import/export business?

Agreed on your points. This is the first time in awhile (maybe since the days of Reynolds/Kirk- who both have had pretty nice NFL careers) where it seems like we've got WRs who can elevate the passing game and can make a QBs life easier.

And to the point about Bussey, yeah he's a guy we might need Klein to manufacture some touches for via some sweeps/jet option kinda stuff.

I agree, this offense could be explosive! Very nice to see Theo & Niblac getting in on the action as well. If we can stay healthy, skies the limit.

I'd like to see some type of option pass as well, guy has a great arm. We need to get him 5-10 touches per game, he's a game changer.
