After watching numerous games this weekend it appears other team's defensive units lineup pre snap and focus on what's going on in the offensive backfield.

We always have everyone looking at each other and at our sideline pre snap with York running around yelling at everyone like it's a fire drill.

Seems we would be better off just getting lined up and attacking. Think less, attack more.

I agree. Everytime I see them running around yelling like that, my first thought is "Oh no, they don't know what to do. We are about to give up a big play".

Absolutely right. I don't think I've seen another team do this as much as we do.

Well. They did say that they were going to communicate more on defense this year.

Coach Elko needs to get that front 7 to play their run fits better and cut down on missed tackles which can be fixed if course I did see some improvement on the back 4 but it was utsa which I'm glad it was because alit of other teams out there we could could of played would of hung a loss on us but all I seen is correctable

We're always getting into position at the final second while the RB has already blown by the first two levels for 8 yards minimum.

Safeties and LBs still don't take good angles and can't tackle worth a damn.

I remember debating a certain texags user over who we took in the portal. There were two individuals that were thrilled over who we replaced our early draft picks with on the Dline. I was just being "negative"

Imagine if they were man enough to say I was right and apologize for being jerks about it.

This defense is thin and it was obvious months ago

I thought the same thing. It appears that they also are passive and wait to be engaged by block before deciding what to do

I think they over complicate the front 7 with too many twists and stunts. It was the same with Durkin.

It worked very well when Elko was the DC here years ago.
