Just remember that viewing the game as a prospective student from the west side of the stadium is like visiting Houston on a cool, crisp November day: false advertising. He'll be third deck east side when he's a freshman.
Also, the campus tour is pretty subpar after having gone through it a couple times in the previous few years (and having also graduated from A&M). With a gigantic campus it's sort of difficult to get much out of it. Other schools do a much better job IMO. If you want a tour of a specific college, though, contact the Texas A&M Foundation and find one of their development coordinators:
Texas A&M Foundation They gave my son a tour of the engineering building a few years ago. You might get hit up for donations, but a small price to pay for a smaller tour. I think each college gives tours as well so check the admissions website. More than you wanted from your original post but might as well make the most of a visit.
