I think it is very reasonable to pick the Aggies over those other teams, but you have to keep in mind Josh Pate's audience. He is heavily biased for the Aggies, and Aggies like that. I imagine he has more Aggie fans watch his videos than any other school.

He's a fantastic ambassador for us. Always articulate and does nice clean up duty for our traditionally poor optics.

So is the source of the percentages proportion of a group responding to an open poll? Self-selection is a great way to augment confirmation bias.

Lol, he has a huge SEC footprint, but doubt that Aggies are the largest fan base involved. My guess would be either LSU or Alabama. Maybe even Texas.

I am not surprised that a far higher percentage of those polled picked up to crash the college football playoff because I think we have the best chance among the four teams. I think our ceiling is 10-2 with likely losses at LSU and Texas, but I am predicting a 9-3 finish with losses to Notre Dame, LSU, and Texas. Hopefully, we go undefeated 7-0 at home, including SEC home wins over Auburn, Mississippi State, Florida, and South Carolina and win road games at Arkansas and Missouri. We have lost 7 consecutive November road games since a 34-13 road win at Tennessee on 12/19/2020. Winning at Missouri would snap that losing streak and give us our first road win in November or later in 5 years.

I wouldn't say he's biased toward any team. He just sees the resources we have and is just waiting for us to prove him right after multiple failures.
