so, what is capacity? With season tickets sold out and 38K in student passes, that equates to 93K. Who gets the other 10K? Opponents guaranteed any? Single ticket sales? Just curious.

Visiting teams, staff working the game also count, recruits/parents, other university usage

We've got about six thousand set aside for the visitors (only a few visitors use all of the allotment), so that leaves another 3000 +/- for recruits, high school coaches, and other comps.

Note that attendance figures you see for a game include all tickets distributed along with all other passes (game day staff, press, security, etc.), so for a game where we sell or distribute every available ticket, the announced attendance will be something like 106,000 or more, rather than 102,500

My post was really a bit tongue in cheek. referencing perceived attendance vs actual. but I was interested in visitor tickets. Back in the day, it was common for me and some buddies to go to impromptu away games. Now, without a season ticket, I can hardly get a ticket for a home game. Your answer was very helpful.
