That is exactly what I do. As soon as the game goes South, I head to the golf course or just turn the TV off. Once the season goes South, I just play golf on Saturdays and don't even watch. I finally quit planning my Saturdays around Aggie football half way through Jimbo's last season.

To be honest, A&M has sucked the fun out of sports for me. It's not fun anymore. Too many years of disappointment and them not winning anything. It's hard to watch this school flounder around in athletics. Some posters complain about this being a miserable fanbase, but can you really blame them? Losing, or always coming up just short of breaking through as a program, wears on people. Even the most loyal fans have a breaking point. I blame the incompetent clowns making decisions for this school.

I'm a big fan of listening to the games on the radio and playing video games if the kid is asleep or doing chores around the house. Planning around watching them on tv is exhausting

Golf? I'd rather watch us lose that game on repeat than play golf.

Record the game. If the Ags win, watch and enjoy. If they lose, hit delete.

Watching Aggie sports is akin to the gif of private Pyle from Full Metal Jacket swallowing the barrel.

Beat your head against a brick wall. Then the typical Aggie collapse will hurt less.

I watch most of our games on my phone while enjoying the view of the Superstition Mountains. The outcome doesn't affect me anymore. Until I moved far away I hadn't missed a game at Kyle for 21 years. Much happier now.

Did this about 5 years ago. Got other things to worry about, honestly. My weekends are way too valuable to be pissed off and disappointed.

All i know is alcohol sales go through the rood when the Aggies play. I know the bars love to see me when they play. Last night was no different.

I fill deer feeders and scout new land for the upcoming season. My life is so much better since I quit caring.

This is all good advice. Stop caring. A&M sports, and Texas A&M in general, is not worth your time.

I stopped caring except for an occasional check-in a long time ago. Haven't attended a game since 2016. My life is better for it.
