I think he's trying to say that a lot of posters want an offense that looks like the chiefs, but the eagles were the ones who dominated with a power offense similar to what Klein is trying to build.

Owe Collin Klein an apology because somebody won the superbowl. Not sure I follow.

I get it: the Eagles were using SB to pound the rock in a way like we wanted Moss to do. We don't have a massive OL like the Eagles. A mobile QB like Hurts who can hurt you with his feet is a work-in-progress here. But the Chiefs did a good job of keeping SB contained through the first half; what burned them was that Hurts had receivers who could get open AND he had the arm to make it matter AND the receivers were reliable. If you don't have that, the defense will keep stacking the box and dare you to make bad throws.

If we're going to take something away here, it was that both teams had generational or near-generational QBs who can get things done. SB was a total beast even at Penn State; at our level, those don't come along every often, and they get banged up more rapidly b/c they're young and don't have the endurance/build that a NFL back possesses. Relying just on your RB won't do it, you need an elite QB and you need to play to their strengths.

When Jalen Hurts did the QB sneak, he had 3 guys behind him pushing him over the goal line. Collin Klein needs to write that down and put it in his playbook. He could have used it against t.u.
