Yes this happens in pro sports too but the best organizations don't stop to link their wounds over a prospect or coach who didn't produce. They keep pounding and pounding relentlessly until they succeed and then, guess what, that success breads more success.

I wonder if 15 years from now, when 3 or 4 of these guys have retired from the NFL, someone will make a documentary on the Texas A&M recruiting class of '22 similar to the one on The Junction Boys.

Eventually people will see that Jimbo's evaluations, particularly character evals, were p**** poor. FSU warned of us his character evaluations, warned of us his offenses, and all of it came true.

I bet you if you put Elko's 2025 and eventual 2026 classes on the field against jimbo's 2022 class and any other hand picked class he recruited, Elko's would beat the crap out of them. But only time will tell, and time is something that many message board fans don't want to admit it's going to take to truly see.

I'm skeptical on Elko, but it's all we can do. And yes, short of going 4-8, he's going to get at least 4 years to let the 2025/2026 classes begin to show themselves on the field and see what we are getting.
