Their three turnovers only resulted in seven Aggie points. The one deep in USC territory resulted in a TD. The other two interceptions resulted in a missed field goal and a punt.

The interception of Reed on an almost certain Noah Thomas touchdown catch that instead bounced off his helmet turned it into a USC touchdown, effectively a 14-point swing.

In summary, three Aggie takeaways - net 7. Two USC takeaways, net 14 points.

Netting 0 points from 2 takeaways was ultimately devastating.

totally agree. shouldn't have even been a game come mid-3rd quarter. our lead should have been 24 to 27 points and USC wouldn't have a prayer at that point.

missed opportunities + undisciplined team = epic choke against a crummy team

Blah blah blah
Sunshine rainbows and unicorns

The reality is we sucked donkey eggplant and got our arse handed to us.

Slice it dice it any way you like it does not change the fact that the Trojans did not use one.

I hate this logic. I mean the int was terrible, should have been a TD.

But after the int then USC starts on their own 26 yard line. They freakin then drove the ball 74 yards. How is that a 14 point swing? Pretty much like a punt and then a drive for a score.

So with your logic any turnover on downs or punt and then score by the opposing team in a 7 point swing. How about the defense get their head out of their @ss and not let the opposing team drive down the field constantly???

Just to clarify my point...If we are driving for a score and throw an int at the goal line that is returned for a pick 6, then that is a 14 point swing.

A turnover and a long drive for a TD by the opposing team is NOT a 14 point swing. I see this flawed logic on here constantly.

If that is a 14 point swing then everyone on here is basically admitting that our D can't stop anyone. Even if a team is full of 3rd stringers and has to drive 74 yards that is a 14 point swing and the turnover's fault.

We had a little over 300 yards of total offense all game until our final drive.
