Elko is done. When half your fanbase thinks losses are the fault of the offensive coordinator and the other half thinks the defensive coordinator is the problem I can guaranty you that the head coach will not be employed at that program in two years time.

This is not accurate at all. It's 10 % offense and 10% defense and 80 % refs( which is ridiculous) according to this board.

Since a 38-23 home win over LSU on 10/26, we have 4 consecutive games to Power 4 opponent. This reminds me of 2016, when we started 6-0 (4-0 SEC) and 5-0 Power 4) before losing 5 consecutive games to Power 4 teams to finish 8-5, including a 33-28 loss to Kansas State in the 2016 Texas Bowl

I was just hoping for a decent showing this year, to help Elko land his first recruiting class (looks pretty good).
But yeah 8-4 would be nice, in the 2nd year, start hitting those 9 and 10 win seasons in year 3 or 4.
How games do you think SEC Coaches should win in Year 2? What were you expecting in Year 1?

2014… 8-5. Ags were worse in conference but won the bowl game. 10 years and two coaches later, this program is still fumbling with their junk.
All this talk about firing coaches. Now that we are paying (in total) more to the players than the coaching staff, when will the talk turn to firing or releasing underperforming players?

This was a meaningless game. We will have big upgrade in secondary and WR. I think we will be better if we can get some good OL in portal. DL could be better.

Except when Sumlin (and Jimbo) had late season collapses, it was usually after the starting QB got injured.
Elko did it after declaring his desired player to be the starter.

E. King Gill forgive him for he knows not what he says. I have never seen the ref stop a touchdown for TAMU nor have I ever seen them score a touchdown for the opposing teams.

I'd rather watch a good game between two teams I don't care about. Let's watch OSU vs Oregon and enjoy the good football. Our mediocrity is just tiresome now.
