Sherman was the one that lost to Ark State for A&M. Saban lost to UL-Monroe or one of the other directional Louisiana schools in his first year.Texas_Ag11 said:
Orchestrated Saban's worst loss as a college coach, IMO. The Ark St game in year 1 was with a depleted roster that wasn't his. Losing to that Calzada A&M team was crazy.
Definitely. He'll always be a legend for how he raised his level of play to beat 'Bama. Personally, I'll never forget how he sacrificed his body vs Auburn and just to finish out that season when there was literally no one left to replace him.Gyles Marrett said:
I sincerely hope he has a great year and ends up having a serviceable NFL career as a backup somewhere. Dude went out basically falling apart physically and got us to the finish line vs. Alabama in that win.

really quality pickup for kentucky. you know calzada can play in the sec because he has done it. his upside arm potential is undeniable and it appears at least based off numbers he has finally learned not to throw every pass 105mph. his completion % is way up over th e last two seasons. hell i wish we could have or would have brought him back to compete for the starting gig here. dude is tough as nails too that can't be taught.
