Oh and did I mention we lost to Texas (again) while managing to score no offensive points in the biggest game played at Kyle Field in ~25 years?.

I do for sure - I'm glad we got him! I'm just responding to the user who calling out the "doom & gloomers" as if they are some strange group or their feelings are irrational.

It is WAY too easy to dunk on A&M Football right now, so I wouldn't go around beating our chest about recruiting. Especially over a guy who has proven nothing thus far in his college career. That said, I wish him well!

I think it's incredibly strange (or more sad, even) that posters who claim to be "fans" will continually rain on the parade any time anything positive happens.

I'm as mad as the next guy about our continued mediocrity, but that won't stop me from celebrating the little wins along the way. That's how things get turned around.

On the bright side for the season after next, we bring in a freshman QB who is hopefully Day 1 starter material out of the state of Utah. QB, you know, the most important position on the field by far like doom/gloomers seem to understand.
