Ordinarily, tailgaters are free to stake their spot the Friday before the game, starting at noon. Does anyone know whether the University is going to enforce this rule given, that no one (presumably) will be on campus due to the Thanksgiving holiday? Also - if the rule is going to be enforced, I wonder what time I should arrive Friday morning to guard the spot we have traditionally used over the years. Comments from anyone in the know is much appreciated!

If you're referring to spence park, now Aggie Park there hasn't been a rope drop there for a while now. Texas A&M went to a virtual landrush that occurs the Sunday at 6:00 p.m. before the upcoming home game. If you're trying to get a spot in Aggie Park it's too late I'm certain.

RevelXp which is a paid tailgating spot is also sold out.

If you want to try to get on the list for the virtual landrush here is the link: https://aggiepark.ucenter.tamu.edu/tailgating/

We asked the golf cart guys at New Mexico game about this. Same rules as normal. Horn will blow at noon Friday.

Thanks for the responses. I assumed it would be Friday @ noon. We tailgate in the Reed lot. Just pondering whether I need to be on site by 6 or 7 to be sure to get our spot.
