Do we need to put him on the back of a milk carton and issue an Amber/Clear alert out to everyone's phones???

Where was he vs Auburn?? Never heard his name mentioned by the broadcasters and didn't see a stat for him. Did he even travel with the team for the game??

Needed his impact, but not even sure he got on the plane.

Man I asked the same thing. I was at the game last night and had to ask when we left if he even played. I didn't recall seeing him make even one play.

Eventually we're going to hear he's playing hurt. He's playing himself out of some NFL money but number 4 is playing like he already has an agent.

Prolly time for 92 to get much more playing time.

What happened to Enie (sp?) White, #6 as i I thought he was ramping up nicely er the last 2 years.

Did he jump ship or hurt?

Don't think he's on the roster any more.

Scourtin has been a huge disappointment. Disappears far too often for how much hype he came in with. I personally think our DL is way too big and slow. Not sure why Sylla or Kennedy aren't seeing any time.

Agree. We need a speed element to our pass rush. Right now we have zero.

Wasn't Scourtin bragging during preseason that he would have 15 sacks in SEC play?? The box score from yesterday's game shows he didn't record a single tackle, much less TFL or sacks….I don't know what's going on with him….but during the game I noticed he wasn't getting the bull rush he was in the early part of the season…..

Wow, I just checked the box score and he isn't even on there. How are you a projected top 20 first round pick and you can't record at least one tackle vs a sub .500 team?

61 plays and not one single recorded tackle!

The end of the game was a great example. Going for the sack every time instead of understanding where we were at in the game.

While our dline is great it's all about matchup because whoever is out there is shooting up field trying to get a sack. Doesn't matchup against Auburn or South Carolina but I bet we look unstoppable against tu. Its not the QB it's the blocking scheme. Sark will have guys running all over the field but doesn't do alot with oline.

Uh our D Line isn't great. They look good in their uniforms, but play poorly.

It also doesn't help when the refs refuse to call offensive holding against our opposition in conference play.

30 quarters without a holding call could be why they aren't great

Maybe, but we aren't great because our front 7 can't generate any pressure on their own. We have to bring DBs to actually get pressure on the QB. Then we better contain and bring the QB down quick, or we're exposed. That last drive in regulation by Auburn was a prime example of that. Where the hell are all your edge rushers in that situation? We have some, but they don't ever get on the field? I really don't like how big and slow we are across the entire DL.

I know we weren't getting a lot of pressure to start the season and then we went on a little tear only to have it sudddenly stop. I'd have to go back and watch the games again to see if when we were getting pressure if it was due to bringing an extra man or just DL winning battles but i know the past few games have been awful with DL pressure. That easily could be due to holding not being called.

I don't see how you can downplay this no holding call situation. Every team KNOWS they won't get called for it before the game even starts????? Or even if they do, it will be on like 2 out of 50+ plays. My God.

Yep, lots of overload on the final drive in regulation that Freeze recognized and abused. If our DL is so good, they should be able to get pressure with 4, but that has not really been the case. On Saturday, our blitzes were not nearly as well disguised as earlier in the year, no pressure towards the interior OL, it was all stunted outside, became predictable. We are susceptible to QBs with any decent vision to run up the middle as outside rushers often go too far upfield.

Our starting defensive end's COMBINED for 0 tackles….

That lack of production in a 4 OT game is difficult to comprehend…. It's like one of them would have lucked into a single tackle, at some point

Well, not on 4th and 2 from Auburns 35 yard line…

We had 3 defensive linemen (that's it) to guard the middle of the field against 11 personnel. In other words- they had 5 Olinemen, 1 qb, and a RB that had been gashing us all night, in the box and we had THREE guys to defend it from tackle to tackle - both linebackers bailed to the flats at the snap.

We get that stop and the game is over. If we give up the first down and just make the tackle for a 5 yard gain, they likely run out of time before getting in field goal range.

If you're Hugh Freeze, you look out there at that and shed a single tear of pure joy and surprise. A gift.

25 yard qb draw straight up the middle.

Our problem is tackling. The coaches job is to get the players in position to make plays, but it's up to the players to finish.
