I miss Mike Leach.

Where is the proof of 3 and 4? Keep in mind SC has a stud DLine with at least 2 future 1st rounders on it. SC had a lot of sacks but outside of them, it hasn't been as prevalent. And we still haven't been turning over the ball a ton.

Yes, the formula all season has been stack the line and force us to throw. Pretty simple. But its also mostly what we've been doing on defense all year long too and our defense line is pretty stout too.

We've needed a passing game for years now. This offense would be unstoppable if they were a threat in downfield passing. Teams would be forced to not load the box and the running game would gash them. It's really a miracle how well the Aggies have been able to run the ball, over the last 7 years, considering that they are running into loaded boxes every week. A&M's lack of a passing game is a huge mystery to me considering that the school is smack dab in the middle of prime QB and WR recruiting country. Texas high school football is near the top when it comes to passing offense.

Well to be fair only two teams have managed to pull it off so there is that.

i would like to see some bootleg action with passes to the togjt end. moves the pocket and gives you a run pass option as well as some running back screens. use defensive pressure against other teams. if they want to come up field then use that aggressiveness against them.

According to the SCar offense their crowd hit harder than the defense they faced during the game last Saturday night.

We are weak in our hot read game. Screens, slants, anything to get the defense to back off a bit and get into our normal rhythm.

with Moss we could just run it anyway. We won't have that anymore, so it's going to require more defense specific play calling to beat what they give us than it has to start the season.

What can we do? Not run the ball every time on 2nd and long.

Also draw up quick passes to negate the blitzes and loading the box. Drag routes, screens, slants, outs, etc

CK is in over his head. His offensive imagination was cultivated by Bill Snyder. Don't expect Mike Leach or Bill Walsh offensive creativity from him. Expect something more akin to what Iowa does.

Same issue with the D. Get a mobile QB and running game to the edges. We won't allow much upbthe middle.
Then pick us apart with 15 yard outs and an occasional deep ball for a free PI or hold.

The formula requires them getting a "record number of sacs" against us?That seems pretty good for us then.
