Our defense lacks discipline

The pre-game shenanigans against LSU in the end zone was the first sign. Then the in-game display when #5 headbutts Nussmier for a huge penalty. The multiple targeting penalties in all our games and of course the lack of tackling are all other examples of this. No emotional control at all from our defense. Honestly, that run by Moss that got him injured showed lack of discipline too and no emotional control.

To me it looks like Elko doesn't have their attention or else why are they doing this?

Nah I'm good posting here on a forum designed and built for this exact kind of thing.

Congratulations on being the 100th poster to point out the defense was bad saturday.

Actually not taking any sh*t from LSU during the pre game was pretty awesome. from what I heard, the corn dogs did a lap through where the a & m guys were warming up and a scuffle ensued, I love it.

I'm actually pointing out the root cause of why our defense stinks. Everyone saw with their own eyes how bad we were on Saturday and that wasn't my point.

When I saw the pre-game end zone display against LSU I thought the same thing you did, "finally, our defense has an attitude and a chip on their shoulder. I love it."

Hindsight tells me now it looks like they're playing with no discipline and no emotional control. This leads to blown plays and huge penalties and ejections even.

It's a coaching problem.

On-field shenanigans is less problematic - a lack of discipline were the constant over pursuits, being out of position, and inability to wrap up tackles

You can take your "discipline" issues and shove them up your arse. The D played like pooosies on Saturday night.

It was not one bad game. They've had discipline issues all season. They've just masked it at times when making big plays.
