Just curious here. I get that ultimately the call on who starts at QB is the responsibility of the head coach. But if I (as a head coach) believe in my OC, and he's got a strong opinion on who the starter should be, shouldn't I be listening to him? I would think that would be true of a lot of positions...where the opinion of the position coach would be the main input. Is Klein really the decision maker? Obviously, the head coach would have veto authority, but how does it really work? I would like to hear from someone who has played/coached college football.

And saying that it's really based on Texags input won't really fly, because based on that, whoever was backup last week would start this week.

It seems, at least to me, like Elko and Klein are working well together. I think they're probably seeing the weaknesses of both QBs and settled on CW up to this point. If there is a change, I doubt it's coming with a lot of friction from either coach.

HC always makes the call on who plays QB. OC recommends only

Hopefully Elmo makes the call, but I fear the influence of TexAgs and the public opinion at large can sometimes be too great

It's Elko's decision.
He's in command, not Klein.
