I know Moose plays occasionally but what happened to those two guys? I just haven't heard a thing about Donovan Green. I did hear Elko comment on Moose's practice habits.

One is coming back from major injury and Moose doesn't practice well or play hard.

Other than blocking, we haven't heard much out of our tight ends since week 3. It's like Klein just forgot they are there...

I think Moose has run out of runway. I am curious about Green. Hoping he can get healthy and we're able to leverage his huge upside. Wonder if the injury recovery has been problematic. Have no idea where he is at mentally at the moment. Still optimistic we see more of him.

Green was discussed during a coach's show. Making progress but return won't be rushed since he needs to trust lateral movement and cuts to okey his position and ACL can take more than a year to recover from.


Believe that was Sept 12.

Green was healthy enough to be on the hands team during an onsides kick attempt 4 weeks ago.

You catch the ball then get down. There's not a lot of hard cuts being made.

I'm pretty sure Green was on the hands special teams unit and recovered an on side kick (could be wrong?). It seems like if he is healthy enough for special teams he is healthy enough to play TE? He may have just been passed on the depth chart. Both our starting TE's are playing very well so may just be hard to earn snaps.

With walker out for the targeting call, We might see some moose in the first half this week

On Green…
You don't put a guy on the hands team if he's in the doghouse. Ergo it must be injury related.

The Moose ship has sailed. He only has a few games left to his collegiate career and the clock is ticking on him making something of it, but don't hold your breath.

Green has not recovered 100% from his injury, I think a lot of it is relearning his muscle memory and getting his mind right. Wouldn't be surprised to not see much of him until next season.

Green will absolutely come along in time. For a big man movement outside the tackle box requires lateral stability that's just taking time to get back. Hands team you just catch it and fall down so please.

What about brownlowdindy?

Tre Watson has been really good with downfield blocking this year. Has really helped spring most of our big gainers.

Thor having been a goalie in Sweden has pretty good hands. They need to toss to him from time to time.

oh, from the thread title, I thought this was going to be an update from the CSPD.... whew....

Moose has really never done much yet people can't get enough of talking about him.

…because some of what he has shown is amazing. It's unfortunate that he hasn't been able to put more of together consistently. His highlight reel is legit.

The talk about Moose being unwilling to put the work in has been around for a while now. I was really hoping he'd get wind of it early and it'd light a fire under him and he'd come back angry. Bummer.

Thor made a key downfield block on Reed's first TD run.

What about Jaden Platt? I thought he looked pretty good for a freshman last year. Have not heard anything about him. Is he injured? Still on the team?

If Reed gets more reps, you'll see production rise for the TEs.

I get it, but the guy catches nearly everything thrown in his zip code…I wish he would get "team" instead of "me"…
