Jimbo Fisher was a great recruiter that is it; He might have been an offense genius in 90s or something but he definitely let the game pass him by which happens to most of us.

The point of this post was to just highlights that Fisher had amazing wins vs LSU, we all know he was a flawed head coach. We were getting our butt handed to us every year by LSU before he showed up.

Jimbo got his ass whipped by LSU on a couple of occasions including the 50-7 blowout 5 years ago

I'm glad Jimbo is gone and he's a bum, but until he showed up, LSU went bag deep in Sumlin annually. We were being humiliated. At least his dumbazz turned that around before he left.

Jimbo also knew how to lose on the road to coaches with barely a week of experience.

Jimbo was a horrible coach but in all honesty, he left the program in pretty good shape (talent wise)

Everybody in the media & their mother said this would be a "rebuilding" year for us, 7 wins at the most. We're 6-1 and are on the verge of making an SEC title & playoff appearance, in part due to the amount of talent Jimbo brought to A&M.

If only he could've coached as well as he recruited.

It's amazing how terrible Jimbo's teams were in the road though.

Kevin Sumlin's overall record of 51-26 (0.662) was slightly higher than Jimbo Fisher's overall record of 45-25 (0.643). Jimbo Fisher's SEC record is 27-21 (0.5625), which is slightly higher than Kevin Sumlin's SEC record of 25-23 (0.521). Sumlin was fired for his inability to win SEC home games, and Jimbo was fired for his inability to win road games.

Jimbo Fisher went 16-6 (0.727) in SEC home games and 17-7 (0.708) against Power 4 teams at Kyle Field. Jimbo went 10-5 (0.667) against SEC West teams, including 3-0 against LSU. We are 0-6 in SEC Games in Baton Rouge, 0-3 under Sumlin, 0-2 under Jimbo, and 0-1 under interim head coach Elijah Robinson. Hopefully, we can win a 4th consecutive home game against LSU on Saturday.
