TLDR: they were fined $250000 dollars. Required to identify the individuals responsible for the throwing incident and ban them from attending athletic events for the remainder of the academic year. Change their alcohol policies, and report to the conference their efforts to identify and punish folks involved and on the changing of their policies to prevent such an incident in the future.

I think this part is interesting. They'd be really pissed if they lost the privilege of selling alcohol.

What prevents them from paying, or otherwise rewarding, a few students to get "suspended" to appease the SEC?

We got fined $250k for rising the girls when we beat LSU in the 8 OT game. Think it was $500k when we rushed after hearing Bama.

Question... How does Sip (or any school these days) do student tickets? Are they still paper tickets? Or have even student tickets gone digital?

If digital it could be VERY easy to identify.
