If we play like we did vs MS St....will be a lot of whiners on this board as tu will win easily. Both tu and UGA would wipe this team on how they played yest vs our showing. Heck next week, many whiners as LSU (and later) USCe would beat us if we play like we did yesterday (extremely lackadaisical in the first half).

Thankfully Elko gets to keep molding, plenty of film to show and use a told you so and probably should play Saban's nothing speech if he can't get the point across.

I don't know if it's fear.

But it is bringing back a lot of bad old memories.

Good thing the team doesn't have these memories. They have to improve and perform no matter what. Let's hope they do.

The personal foul that gave them a first down and the Tucker field goal was at Kyle. It is painful how much refs favor the sips.

This is that odd area of being good for media / business and good for the program may not be the same thing.

Going to be at the game in November and I bet the atmosphere will be off the charts! Sports is about entertainment and I expect to be Entertained.

Also, from my seat in the end zone with the play coming towards us, I thought the pass looked uncatchable since it was thrown so far to the side of the receiver. I believe that is why it was waived off. But I can understand a Mizzou fan's frustration with it.

In the same way, I can see how the ref in the sip game could see def PI on that play although I thought it should have been a no-call. The sip db stopped in front of the wr with the ball in the air impeding his route. To me that by itself would be def PI. On the other hand the UGA wr used his hands and arms to push against the stopping db so I feel like it neutralizes what the db did and should have been a no-call.

I had no desire for the Aggies to play the donghorns. But now that it is going to happen, let the Aggies go in there and f 'em up. And yes, I have been a moron and an idiot but not because I want the Aggies to play sip.

I was at this game and never more frustrated about a game in my life. Watching this over and over years later, I think it is easy to see how this would have probably been called targeting today which was not a rule in 2011. We like to say he was trying to avoid hitting the wr and I think he was with his body. But I also think he ducks his head and turns the crown of his helmet towards the wr rather than away.

At the time I thought it was a dumb move on his part because he could have done a better job of avoiding the contact since the ball was clearly beyond the wr and he had a clear sight of it before he got there. He should have done everything he could to not give the ref (tsip lover or not) any reason to throw a flag at that point with victory basically in hand if not for the call.

At the same time, since targeting was not a thing then and this was such a soft glance, the flag should have never been thrown and especially when it affected who would gain possession at a point that the game would be decided.
