Hey Aggie Fans!

We are back and excited to talk with you about the upcoming SEC battle between two
of college football's oldest rivals, your Texas A&M Aggies and the LSU Tigers. The first
time the Aggies and Tigers met was in College Station in 1899. But, before we dig into
this, let's introduce Snaps Clothing for those who are new to our feed.

Our company, Snaps Clothing , was founded in 2021 in Dallas, TX by us, Ed Baronne
and Patrick Lynn. As good friends and business partners who wanted to move away
from corporate life and tackle a new challenge, we identified a niche in the menswear
market. As people transitioned into a less formal lifestyle post Covid, we believed that
guys would enjoy wearing shirts that resonated more with their roots, while having the
modern advantages of stretch, lightweight fabric, masculine colors, and iconic style. All
of these allowing guys to seamlessly transition between settings. With this thought, the
idea of modernizing the pearl snap shirt came into focus and Snaps was born.

Now… back to the good stuff on the matchup! Just like many of you, we've spent our
lives enjoying afternoons of college football; the tailgates, the matchups, the beautiful
Texas fall weather, and of course... the euphoria of being in an SEC stadium with the
cheers of deafening crowds. There is nothing better.

Second to the Longhorns vs. Aggies matchup, our second favorite game each year is
always Texas A&M vs. LSU. There's something about the Bayou Bengals coming to
town that seems to turn things up a notch around College Station and amps up the
Aggie fans making game day a memorable one!

As I'm sure many of you will agree, one of the craziest games we've ever been a part of
was the Aggies 74-72 win over the Tigers in 2018 during its record breaking 7
overtimes!

Who remembers this game? Tell us your stories. What was your favorite A&M vs LSU
experience or game?

I watched the first quarter in the airport, landed in Vegas several hours later and was flabbergasted the game was still on. Watched the last 4 overtimes in Cesar's Palace sports book.

If we had had overtime Mond the whole game we wouldn't have needed overtime but that was one heck of a game. Lswho has to still be pissed about that game. Funniest thing was that their coach had to go through overtime with a gatorade bath.

Oh and don't forget "the predator" who magically came on in OT and was absolutely unstoppable... and then promptly disappeared again for the rest of his career

I was at that game, and this was the best Aggie football game that I have gone to. We snapped a 7-game losing streak to LSU, including 6 conference games. Dating back to our 74-72 7-OT win over LSU, we are 3-0 against LSU at Kyle Field. Hopefully, that trend will continue this year, but we must focus on winning our road game at Mississippi State first before our home game against LSU.

I remember never being so happy before in my life that our QB was sacked when he slipped, and his knee touched.

Turned the TV off after Mond's interception. I got ready for bed and then checked my phone for the score and saw it was in the 4th OT. I thought "wtf happened??!" and turned it back on to watch the rest.

We were at that game as well. When Mond threw the overturned interception my wife was po'd and wanted to leave. I was still watching the video board while she was getting our stuff and told her to hold on I think his knee was down.

And the rest is history!

I went to the game with my son, who was sold on LSU after living in Louisiana. After that game he changed his tune and is now looking to join the Corps.

I was in Abu Dhabi for some work training, and I woke up early to watch. I had pretend to listen to the instructor for a few hours while actually just watching the last few overtimes on my phone.

My family and I were watching from the living room. Right after Mond threw the pick, everyone left. I was about to leave but then saw Mond and the offense still on the field...wait a minute....what is this? A few minutes later, Quartney Davis ties the game (that was clutch, maybe the best play ever). Then in OT Jace fumbled, but was ruled not a fumble, and I just knew we were gonna win somehow someway.

I remember turning off the TV after Mond's interception thinking the game was over. You can imagine my shock when 10 minutes later I get a call asking if I was still watching.

Started off that day with my 2% Aggie wife hedging an A&M loss with a bet for LSU +points. Watched the game in the MGM sport book. Left immediately when Mond threw the "interception". Stopped at a restaurant on our way to a show we had scheduled. Got an ESPN alert that the game was going into OT at the table (no televisions at the restaurant). Immediately grabbed my wife and rushed to the nearest sports bar. Ended up sitting next to a big ass group of coonasses right as OT kicked off. Had a blast with them buying each other rounds, talking ****, etc.

Missed half of what ended up being a damn good show. Worth every second missed.

I took a video of the post-game celebration from the south endzone that ended up being one of the most viral and useful ones for figuring out who did what in the pushing match that ensued, Kragthorpe, etc.

We're NOT ON THE TEAM. What we say, think, or do has ZERO bearing on how the team performs.

I was watching the game at the Association of Former Students Building. The building cleared out after Mond's interception. However, after Mond threw the game tying TD to Davis, myself and the few who stayed immediatly started celebrating. After we kicked the extra point, I ran outside yelling out "The game is tied! The game is tied!" Fans then streamed into the Association of Former Students to watch the all 7 OT. The OT was a rollar coaster of emotion. Here is how the final OT went:

LSU misses 2 point conversion- Ags cheer
Mond touchdown pass to Davis- Ags celebrate
Def. PI on 2 pt conversion- Ags celebrate some more
Ags line up for 2 pt conversion- Ags anticipate 1 yard run for the win
False start- Ags screaming out "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
2 point conversion underway- everyone silent
Mond 2 pt conversion to Rogers- Ags Celebrate
To 1,000,000 touchdowns ...and beyond

I was on the sidelines for that game. It's the only time I've ever been down on the field.

Towards the end I was just ready for that game to be over. It was longest and most miserable walk back to the car after standing that long.

My LSU inlaws, my 6-year-old son, and I had tickets to this game. On the Wednesday before this game, we were packing the car to drive to CS for Thanksgiving at my sisters house. My dad called about 10 am saying that my mom was being flown by helicopter to the hospital in San Antonio. He had found her on the floor in the garage earlier that morning and she was unresponsive. We spent Wednesday night and Thanksgiving in the hospital. On Friday night my son and I watched the game at home. It was the one bright spot that week before she passed the next Wednesday. She had a major stroke and brain bleed and there was nothing that could be done. It was a shock to all of us because she was a mostly healthy 75-year-old.

I was there too and still have me ticket stub. My seat mates left when Mond thru the interception. I said I was just a min behind them. Then the official review and we got the ball back. Seven OTs later I walked out of the stadium. My seatmate were pisssed because they had to watch it at the MSC.
